treasure n. v.,
valued thing, darling or useful
person; set store on, store up in the memory as dear or valuable
Once you realise that the road is
the goal and that you are always on the road, not to reach a goal, but to enjoy
its beauty and its wisdom, life ceases to be a task and becomes natural and
simple, in itself an ecstasy -

We
are sometimes too quick to deny ourselves the small pleasures of life.
To step
outside and be grateful for the sun or the rain or the air we are so fortunate
to breathe.
To sleep wholly and deeply with no alarm but the inevitability of
dawn.
To savor a moment and acknowledge the steps you have walked to get where
you are.
Life
is fast. It is busy.
It is street signs, and financial reviews, and ingredients
in numbers instead of letters.
It is constantly shifting, merging, changing.
And
it is also slow.
Like honey oozing from a spoon.
It is the leaves turning autumnal
hues.
It is perseverance.
It is the still before each breath.
It is the flutter
of my heart when you say my name.
It’s
ok to dream and strive for that dream, in fact, it’s commendable &
admirable & amazing. To be brave enough to seek what is seeking you is
beyond inspirational.
It’s
also ok to cherish what is happening now no matter how simple it may seem.
Because this road we tread now is ultimately the path to where we will be. And
the view along the way, oh the view.
Sometimes
life is what happens when you calm your pace, articulate each step and slow
down long enough to hear your soul dancing with the breeze.
Give yourself a second. You most
definitely deserve it.
PEACE X
